Device Catalog (LoRaWAN)

Selection of devices

PreviousHTTPNextNetwork Management (LoRaWAN)

Last updated 2 months ago

Skysens LoRaWAN network server and third party LoRa Network Server (LNS) integration comes with large number of LoRaWAN IoT devices.

Currently, only Skysens LoRa Network Server is supported via Network Management and device catalog interface.

Most popular and Skysens tested devices are offered to end user via device catalog.

For devices not listed in the catalog please contact Skysens team. Team will add new devices to the list for free by your request.

For how LoRaWAN and its configurations work please refer to official LoRa Alliance .

When device is selected there is two option depending on its ownership, "Already integrated to SKYSENS system" or "NOT integrated to SKYSENS system".

If device is already in Skysens database, you need to select "Already integrated to SKYSENS system" option.

This option usually being used by enterprises which purchases devices directly from Skysens hardware support and/or uses a previously stocked device.

If its selected, user only needs to write down EUI number of the device, select LoRaWAN connection method (ABP or OTAA) and select supported LoRaWAN frequency bands (currently EU868 and US915 MHz bands). Other information is already in Skysens system.

If device is new and not already integrated "NOT integrated to SKYSENS system" needs to be selected.

If device is not integrated, and uses OTAA, user needs to input Application EUI, Application Key, Class (ARX1, ARX2, CRX2),RX2 Frequency Window (869.525 MHz or 923.300 MHz) as addition.

If it is ABP user will be asked for Device Adress, Network Session Key, Application Session Key as a difference.
